FDA generates nearly 3,000 membership invoices per year, with pricing that varies based on member affiliation and company size.

Managing 600 annual price books made invoice creation complex and error-prone. At the same time, billing workflows were 99% paper-based, requiring bulk document printing and manual cost center assignment without a structured merge process.

Adding to the pressure, FDA’s third-party Salesforce document tool issued a contract renewal that increased costs by 4x. With rising software costs and operational strain, the IT team began searching for a more efficient and cost-effective document generation solution for Salesforce.

Solution

FDA implemented Titan Document Studio as their Salesforce-first solution to centralize invoice generation and membership documentation.

Teams generate invoice batches from Salesforce list views and use Titan’s merge feature to produce consolidated PDFs for bulk processing.

For member onboarding, business developers generate pre-filled affiliation documents on an iPad, collect digital signatures on-site, and store finalized PDFs in Salesforce.

Titan was also integrated with Salesforce screen flows to validate invoice data before document generation.
