Company overview

BELFOR is the world’s largest disaster restoration company, helping individuals, businesses, and communities recover after fires, floods, storms, and other property loss events.

The company provides restoration and recovery services across industries, with teams coordinating field work, insurers, approvals, documentation, and cross-border processes across multiple markets. For BELFOR, disaster recovery is not only about repairing properties. It is also about helping customers return to normal as quickly and safely as possible.

Challenge

BELFOR uses Salesforce as its central operating system, rolling out one org across many European markets. Before Titan, the company relied on a competing Salesforce document and forms solution that was not built for that scale.Β

The team needed to generate documents, capture field data, and manage market-specific requirements across different languages without creating more IT dependency.Β

BELFOR needed to support 14+ languages from a single Salesforce org, but its previous tools could not efficiently manage multilingual templates, forms, and generated documents. Simple document updates required a dedicated specialist, which limited what Salesforce admins and local market teams could maintain on their own.

Template maintenance also created duplicated work. Documents lived in Word, while UI components were built separately in Salesforce, so teams had to maintain the same process in two places.

Document processing was slow. Data passed through an intermediate service before returning to Salesforce, adding delays, failure points, and long QA cycles. Every edit also required publishing a new version just to check the output.Β

Without preview, version control, change history, or rollback, BELFOR had limited control over testing, governance, and debugging. When issues occurred, the team also had limited confidence that its vendor could support future requirements quickly.

Solution

BELFOR implemented Titan to support Salesforce-connected document generation, eSignatures, and field data capture across European markets.

With Titan Document Studio, BELFOR generates offers, orders, invoices, and work authorizations from Salesforce records. These documents can be completed with on-site or remote eSignatures, keeping the process connected to Salesforce from generation through completion.

BELFOR also uses Titan Experience Studio to build operational forms and dynamic checklists for field technicians. Teams complete these forms on-site from mobile phones and tablets, with submitted data written back to Salesforce in real time.

These mobile forms support damage-site photo capture, image sketching and annotation, and attachments within the inspection workflow. This is especially important for BELFOR because photo documentation is a critical early-stage deliverable in damage reporting and a major revenue driver in several markets.

Internally, Titan gives BELFOR preview, version management, change history, and rollback. Teams can test changes before release, track what changed, and roll back when needed, instead of publishing a new version every time they need to check an output.

Impact

Document Cycles Reduced from Days to Hours
Offers, orders, invoices, and work authorizations that previously required days of back-and-forth can now be completed in hours, helping field teams move work forward faster.Β

5 Markets Live and Scaling
BELFOR’s Titan setup is live in France, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, and Sweden, with plans to expand across Europe by 2027.

Built for 5,000+ Users
Today, 1,600 users work with these documents, forms, and field checklists across BELFOR’s live markets. Once fully rolled out, BELFOR expects to support more than 5,000 users across Europe.Β

Multilingual Solutions from One Salesforce Org
BELFOR currently runs documents and forms in 5+ markets, with a goal to support 14+ languages from one Salesforce org.

More Control Internally
Market teams and operational users can maintain simpler items, such as checklists, without depending on IT specialists for every update.Β

Mobile-Friendly Field Documentation
Field technicians can complete inspection documentation from mobile phones and tablets, including forms, photos, annotations, and supporting files.Β

Safer Releases
Preview, version control, change history, and rollback help teams test changes before release and reduce repetitive publish-and-test cycles.Β

Faster Onboarding
BELFOR found it significantly easier and faster to onboard markets and employees onto Titan than with its previous tool.Β

β€œFrom pre-sales to post-sales, Titan has listened to every requirement, issue, and suggestion. I don’t regret, even for a moment, choosing Titan for Salesforce. It has become an operational backbone for document execution at BELFOR, alongside Salesforce, and there’s really no match for what it offers.”
