Daheim Solar is a company that organizes and delivers turnkey solar installations to customers. They provide services, designs, and even coordination for projects. They also follow up with customers after completing an installation to ensure the best services are delivered.
In the past, Daheim Solar used Salesforce for lead-to-invoice solutions. In addition, they wanted to leverage the Salesforce platform to generate:

Daheim Solar is a small company, but its employees work intensively with documents. Unfortunately, the organization doesn’t have a large workforce to keep track of and update this documentation. This includes the “little” things related to file management. In the past, Daheim found that managing text, logic, and other document elements was becoming very time-consuming.
Ultimately, Daheim could not keep up with the workload of managing essential documents. The tasks were draining and employees were not always motivated to carry them out. As a result, Daheim Solar had to rely on sub-optimal documents that no one wanted to spend days maintaining.
In addition to this challenge, Daheim Solar also introduced Sales CPQ into their Salesforce. The introduction of CPQ meant that Daheim Solar’s quotes and orders system would have to change. The old way of working with Salesforce data differed from the new CPQ perspective. Whatever the team had built without the Cash and Price parts of CPQ was not reusable. Restarting the platform from scratch to implement CPQ was not a favorable approach for Daheim Solar.
In the face of administrative and systemic hurdles, everything landed on the Salesforce team.

Daheim Solar looked for an application to take care of both problems:
They initially used an app, which is a Titan competitor. It prevented the company from keeping up with documents and process evolution. This document app did contain merge fields, but it was a nightmare to work with. Daheim Solar had to function with it for a while and was forced to use complex logic to create Visualforce pages in order to bypass the shortcomings of the tool. After this, the page was transformed into a PDF that the company could use. Overall, the documentation process was cumbersome.
Daheim Solar wanted a change and kept searching for their ideal document generation solution for Salesforce. Additionally, the company wanted to introduce a digital signature process for its 4 major documents.
Daheim Solar found Titan the usual way. They checked the Salesforce AppExchange marketplace, and after reading up about our products and experiencing a demo, they decided to start their journey with us.
With Titan, Daheim Solar could implement everything they needed and even more for their unique process in 4 months.
By leveraging Titan, Daheim Solar changed 3 quote documents and a confirmation document with 4 different flows and custom logic dedicated to the business process. Then, they created a contract for contractors, and a new process with documents that detailed all the orders and warehouse movements for acquiring materials.
Producing invoices have always been a pain point for Daheim Solar. There were many types and they needed lots of logic. After a simple calculation, Daheim Solar needed 40 different invoice documents. With Titan, Daheim Solar rebuilt the invoice generation process from scratch in just two weeks using Word and Salesforce.
Additionally, Daheim Solar did not expect to use Flows but after Titan presented it to them, they found it served many use cases for the company.
Daheim Solar estimates, excluding the learning curve, that starting a new project from scratch can be done in 20% of the time compared to the previous approach. In Daheim Solar’s opinion, the more time they save, the more important it is for the company. The employees also feel empowered to do tasks they would have postponed or not done in the past because they were too messy to complete.
With Titan, Daheim Solar has a new document generation process that employees enjoy working on. They are very happy they have a full document generation solution with robust logic. Titan gives the company the control it needs to perform tasks well with tools that are intuitive and easy to use.
From a financial point of view, Daheim Solar needed a tool to generate documents from Salesforce. Adopting Titan and creating document-generation solutions has saved Daheim both time and money. Getting quality document creation and generation capabilities was crucial, and Titan delivered on point!
Daheim Solar would like to explore Titan Forms. So far, the company has only used Forms to generate Word documents. In the future, the company would like to use Forms to create web forms to improve lead generation.
There is also a project on the horizon to open a shop, and one of the tasks would be to produce invoices for customers without processing Salesforce data. Daheim Solar would need a quick solution for invoice generation when customers purchase items in the shop. They believe Titan would be ideally suited to this!
