The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is a public research university in Los Angeles, California. It is considered to be one of the United States’ most prominent rankings universities, placing it among the top in the world for academics, research, and community impact. Although it is a public research university, it provides a quality of education comparable to that of the Ivy League.
UCLA combines the close-knit learning environment of a spirited public school with the endless opportunities of a world-class city. As a public research university, its mission is the creation, dissemination, preservation, and application of knowledge for the betterment of our global society.
According to the Assistant Dean of Strategic Initiatives and Salesforce Certified Administrator, Dr. Frederik Leuhusen, the UCLA Anderson School of Management, the Salesforce platform gave the public research university the solution it needed. However, Salesforce required some customization regarding data collection and management.
UCLA, like many Salesforce higher education customers, had complex forms that needed dynamic fields for data to be automatically populated when pushed and pulled into and from Salesforce.
