Salesforce Ben Demos Titan | Build Lightning-Fast Salesforce Data Transfers
In our digital-first era, businesses require data to be entered into Salesforce quickly, autonomously, and accurately. With this problem solved, all teams in an organization can access, process, and manage information directly from Salesforce for more efficient workplace productivity.
Keep reading if you want to upgrade your systems to include zero manual data entry. Our article covers a special demo presented by Ben McCarthy, founder of Salesforce Ben, highlighting the power of Titan’s integration with Salesforce.
Whether you are a Salesforce admin, developer, or business owner, you will not want to miss this content to support your organization. Our Titan platform has a special ability to push data to your Salesforce org and pull it back to your web projects in real time using no code.
Let’s get started!
Salesforce Push with Titan
First, Ben demoed some of Titan’s key push capabilities before moving on to the platform’s ability to pull data back from Salesforce.
For example, with Titan, admins can push data to Salesforce to perform several actions, including:
- Creating a Record
- Updating or Creating a Record
- Deleting a Record
In the video, Ben showcased how to update or create a record in a simple web form for demonstrative purposes. Watch the demo to see how to update a record for your Salesforce action instead of creating a new one. However, you can also follow the simple steps below:
- Navigate to your Salesforce integration window and click the edit icon next to your created push.
2. Use the action drop-down to select Update.
If Salesforce finds multiple matches, you can choose which record you want to update:
- First Record
- Last Record
- All
- Skip
You can create a new contact if Salesforce does not find a match.
3. Create a condition to ensure the correct record is updated.
4. Next, you need to map your fields.
Any information you provide will be sent to Salesforce. Note that when one of your users completes the form and provides an email that matches an existing contact, any information they provide that does not match the current Salesforce data will be updated.
Please remember that you can also perform bulk updates for Salesforce using Titan.
Salesforce Get with Titan
Next, admins can leverage Titan to pull data from Salesforce into a project. In the video demo, Ben showcased this capability via a Power Table, Titan’s version of a multi-object hierarchical editable data table. To do this on your end, follow the simple steps below:
- Add a Power Table and choose your source. In the demo, it was an Object account, but it can also be a report or Apex.
2. Next, choose a limit for how many records will be brought from Salesforce.
3. Then, set conditions stating what kinds of accounts you want to bring from your CRM.
When you create a Power Table in Titan, you can see that a get is created automatically, including all the conditions you set.
You can also add a child get such as a Contact and pull all this information automatically from Salesforce into your Power Table.
