AISC Connects Certification, Forms, and Documents to Salesforce

Salesforce sits at the center of work across AISC’s membership, certification, and engineering teams, helping staff support members, companies, engineers, and other industry stakeholders. But AISC also needed to extend Salesforce across public and internal processes without requiring every interaction to happen inside Salesforce.

That meant public-facing forms, internal document generation, and structured workflows that could read and write Salesforce data while supporting complex certification processes.

One of the most important requirements was generating an automated certificate containing accurate Salesforce data once a company completed AISC’s certification requirements. Each certificate also needed to support verification through a QR code.

This certification and verification process required careful control because changes to company information, such as an address, could affect certification status. AISC therefore, needed structured forms and nonprofit CRM workflows to capture change requests, route them to the right person for approval, and ensure updates were reviewed before becoming active.

AISC also needed forms for external users and auditors, as well as document generation for certificates and invoices.

AISC implemented Titan’s Enterprise Suite to extend Salesforce across public forms, certification workflows, document generation, and internal processes. External users submit information through Titan forms, while internal teams generate certification documents using Salesforce data. 

Certificate generation is one of AISC’s central Titan workflows. Once a company completes the required steps, staff trigger Salesforce certificate generation from an internal application. Titan populates a Word template with Salesforce data, creating the certificate without teams having to manually re-enter information.

Each certificate includes a QR code that links to a verification page on AISC’s website, where recipients can confirm that the certification is valid and active.

For company information changes, Titan captures the required data and routes it through the appropriate approval workflow. Updates are reviewed by the correct person before changes that could affect certification are applied.

AISC also uses Titan to build complex external forms for Salesforce and publish them on its public website. Users complete public-facing web forms, with data pulled from or sent back to Salesforce in real time. 

Complex auditor forms are another important use case. Auditors submit information through Titan, with the collected data saved in Salesforce.

Internally, Titan is also used by 98 staff members to generate invoices from Salesforce data.

Verified Documents
Certificates are generated from Salesforce data and include a QR code connected to a verification page. Recipients can scan the code to confirm that certification is valid and active.

Public Website Forms
Titan’s Salesforce-connected forms allow AISC to collect information from external users through its website. Visitors complete public-facing web forms, with data pulled from or written back to Salesforce.

AISC has used Titan for more than three years across forms and document generation, supporting certification, invoicing, auditing, public-facing processes, and Salesforce approval workflows.
