UTB Replaces Paper Forms with Mobile-Compatible Field Reporting

Salesforce was implemented in 2022 and sits at the center of UTB’s operations. However, the company still struggled to replace paper-based construction processes with mobile forms that field teams could complete on-site.

Safety checks, equipment verification, bad-weather stoppages, and project photo documentation were historically managed through paper forms, emails, and manual reporting processes. Site managers often had to collect photos from employees and manually assemble reports themselves.

UTB also struggled to generate large, photo-heavy documents reliably inside Salesforce, with reports timing out or failing to load.

At the same time, the company needed signed proof and documented records stored in Salesforce for compliance, insurance, and accident auditing purposes.

UTB implemented Titan Experience Studio for mobile-compatible field forms, document generation, and eSignatures supporting safety checks, bad-weather stoppages, and on-site project reporting inside Salesforce.

Field teams now complete mobile forms with project information pre-filled to speed up submission. Once forms are completed, managers and employees sign electronically from their devices. Titan then writes form records back to Salesforce and generates PDF copies for compliance and accident auditing.

UTB also replaced manual photo reporting with automated document generation. On-site employees upload before-and-after project photos directly from the field, so managers can generate completed reports in Salesforce with a single click.

To support long-term document storage, UTB stores generated files in Google Drive while maintaining references inside Salesforce.
