Titan’s Featured Salesforce MVPs of 2024
If you’re a sports fan, then you probably know what an MVP is! In the world of Salesforce, the most valuable players are our “Most Valuable Professionals” and they knock it out of the park by demonstrating exceptional leadership, generosity, and expertise.
Salesforce MVPs are either self-nominated or nominated by peers based on incredible contributions to the ecosystem. Roughly 20-30 new MVPs are chosen every year – a tiny drop in the ocean compared to the over 15 million people who work in the broader Salesforce community! In an increasingly AI-driven CRM, it is MVPs that help give our Salesforce implementations a human face. #SaleforceOhanaCulture
Ahead of Dreamforce this September, we’re giving a special shout-out to some of the legendary professionals who have shaped our culture over the last few years. These MVPs might not be filling football stadiums but they do know how to pull crowds, driving passion and engagement for all things Salesforce!
Titan has been lucky enough to collaborate with these MVPS in 2024 and we can’t wait to extend these partnerships into the future.
What is a Salesforce MVP?
They are individuals who are recognized by Salesforce as making important contributions to the ecosystem. Salesforce MVPs are experts in their respective fields and show leadership within the community. They also act as mentors to Trailblazers in the Salesforce ecosystem by generously providing career guidance, implementation advice, and skills-development opportunities.
How to Become a Salesforce MVP?
There is no clear direction that one can take to become a Salesforce MVP. However, recognition by Salesforce and receiving the MVP title can be achieved by following a few proactive steps. Here are two valuable pieces of advice to follow if you want to pursue your dreams of becoming a Salesforce MVP.
- Join a Salesforce community and start chatting on the forums. The more you communicate with others on the Salesforce Trailblazer Community or Stack Exchange, the more likely you are to get noticed. You can show your commitment to helping fellow Trailblazers by answering questions or providing solutions to Salesforce issues.
- Attend Salesforce events! Every year, Salesforce hosts conferences like Dreamforce, World Tours, or TrailheadDX and there are tons of amazing community ‘Dreamin’ events to choose from. These are great venues to meet people, join local user groups, and even sign up to give a talk about your experience with Salesforce.
Many of the most inspiring members of the Salesforce community don’t start out with the goal of becoming an MVP. Instead these dynamic professionals devote time, resources, and expertise into projects they really care about. Giving back to the ecosystem is their primary focus and becoming an MVP is simply the byproduct of this incredible journey.
MVP and Golden Hoodie recipient Nadina Lisbon talks about her MVP journey:
“I think one of the things people think from a Salesforce MVP perspective is that you will do a few boxes and then you will automatically become an MVP! I’m very much focused in on the community and sharing back what I do. Being a Salesforce MVP is about three traits: it’s about generosity, your expertise, and your leadership. I always tell people that even if I wasn’t a Salesforce MVP, I would still be doing all the communities I am doing because I am passionate about them.”
