Currently it is hard to see wether some concrete option (e.g. auto-dismiss a toast) is really inactive or not when it is not selected, since it may still be on in the project default / theme. And it is not possible to deactivate that option for single elements when the default is on.
I suggest
– use tri-state checkboxes for options with defaults
– if checkbox is in “use default” state, use color or some other way to show whether the default is on or off
