The Ultimate Guide to Salesforce Industry Clouds
What are Salesforce Industry Clouds?
Salesforce Industry Cloud, which is sometimes known as industry vertical solutions, is a collection of cloud-based tools and solutions that are customized for particular industries such as healthcare, financial services, retail, and manufacturing. These industry clouds for Salesforce were introduced in 2020 when the President and Chief Product Officer, David Schmaier, said the following: “In my more than 30 years in technology, I’ve never seen digital transformation happen faster than it is today. Digital projects that were planned for years now need to happen in weeks and months … Businesses in every industry need to digitally transform with speed, flexibility and scale to keep up with changing times and customer demands, and we are proud to offer a breadth of industry cloud solutions to help customers get back on track quickly.“
Each Industry Cloud typically offers pre-built applications, best practices, templates, workflows, and data models that are designed with the specific requirements of a particular industry in mind. These solutions are built on the core capabilities of Salesforce’s Customer 360 platform and include CRM (Customer Relationship Management), marketing automation, sales automation, service management, and analytics. They are customized and optimized for the specific demands of a specific industry. Salesforce Industry Cloud aims to fast-track the digital transformation within different industries by providing tailored solutions that can enhance customer experiences, streamline operations, and improve overall business efficiency.
