Google Sheets Integration in Titan Flow

Overview

The Google Sheets node in Titan Flow allows you to automatically write data to a Google Spreadsheet as part of an automated workflow.

Instead of manually exporting data, copying entries, or maintaining spreadsheets outside your process, Titan Flow writes structured data directly into Google Sheets during execution.

Each time the Flow runs, data can be appended to a defined spreadsheet and stored in a specific folder. This ensures structured logging, simplified reporting, and consistent data handling across processes.

Titan Solution

The Google Sheets integration enables Titan Flow to create or update a spreadsheet and append rows automatically during Flow execution.

You can:

• Create a new spreadsheet or use an existing one
• Dynamically define the spreadsheet name
• Define the destination folder using a name or folder ID
• Append data starting from a specific row
• Map Flow variables to spreadsheet columns
• Continue the Flow with downstream steps, such as Salesforce updates or email notifications

Each execution adds structured data to the sheet based on your configuration. The spreadsheet becomes part of your automation logic, removing the need for manual data entry or exports.

When to Use the Google Sheets Node

Use this integration when you need to:

• Log form submissions in a structured spreadsheet
• Export Salesforce data into Google Sheets automatically
• Maintain operational tracking logs
• Generate reporting sheets during a process
• Share structured data externally without granting Salesforce access

Prerequisites

Before configuring the Google Sheets node:

• Authenticate your Google account inside Titan
• Ensure the required Flow variables exist for column mapping
• Confirm the destination folder in Google Drive if using a specific folder ID

How to Configure the Google Sheets Node

Step 1: Add the Google Sheets Node

1. Click the + icon in Titan Flow. The Add Node screen opens.
2. Select the Integrations tab.
3. Click Google Sheets.
4. Click Next. The Add Node / Google Sheets configuration screen opens.

Step 2: Configure the Google Sheets File and Folder

On the Select Google Sheets file and folder screen, define where the spreadsheet is located and how rows should be appended.

File Selection

You can identify the spreadsheet using one of the following options:

File ID (Recommended)

• Select Static and paste the spreadsheet File ID.
• Or select Field to dynamically reference a Flow variable containing the File ID.
  

Using File ID ensures the Flow always writes to the exact spreadsheet, even if files share the same name.

File Name

• Select Static to manually enter the spreadsheet name.
• Or select Field to dynamically define the name using a Flow variable.

Folder Selection

You can define the spreadsheet location using:

Folder ID (Recommended)

• Select Static and paste the Google Drive Folder ID.
• Or select Field to dynamically reference a Flow variable containing the Folder ID.

Folder Name

• Select Static to manually enter the folder name.
• Or select Field to dynamically define the folder using a Flow variable.

Using Folder ID is recommended when multiple folders may share the same name.

Important:

If a folder with the same name already exists in Google Drive but was not created through the Titan API, Titan cannot access it. In this case, Titan will create a new folder with the same name and generate a new Google Sheet within it.

Start From Row

Define the row where data insertion begins:

• Select Static and enter the row number manually.
• Or select Field to dynamically define the row using a Flow variable.
  

Click Next to continue to column configuration.

Step 3: Configure Columns

On the Add Node / Google Sheets screen:

1. Click Add Column to define each column that will receive data.
2. For each column:
   • Select Static to manually define the column header name.
   • Or select Field to dynamically reference a Flow variable.
3. Repeat this process until all required columns are configured.
4. Click Next to continue.

Step 4: Define the Node Tag

1. Enter a value in the Tag name field.
   This label will appear on the Flow canvas and should clearly describe the action, such as “Add records to Google Sheet.”
2. Click Insert to add the node to the Flow.
   

The Google Sheets node has been successfully added to your automation.

Result

The Google Sheets node appears on the Flow canvas with the configured tag name.

During execution:

• Data is appended to the configured spreadsheet.
• Each run creates a new row starting from the defined row number.
• The Flow continues through its defined execution paths, such as After Finish or On Cancel.
