Use a Loop to Update Multiple Records in Titan

When you need to update multiple records or items, you can use a loop to repeat an action for each item in a list. This is useful when your project needs to evaluate records one by one, update rows in a table, or create, update, or delete multiple records within

up each action separately.

Titan Solution

Titan lets you add a loop to your project so you can iterate over a list of items. The list can come from a repeat strip, a variable, rows in a Power Table, or another supported data source.

You can then add actions to the loop, such as creating, updating, or deleting records, changing table rows, or applying logic to each item in the list.

How to Guide

The following options are available:

• Loop: evaluate each item in a list.
• Continue: after one item is evaluated and the action is executed, continue with the next item.
• Break: stop the Loop process.

1. Open a Web project. In this example, we added a power table and a button.
2. Click the On Click icon to configure an action for the button.

3. Click the + icon. The Add Node screen opens.

4. Under Loop, click the Loop option and the Next button.

5. Select the power table from the Loop on Element drop-down list and click the Next button.
6. Add a tag if necessary and click the Insert button.

7. Click the + icon to add a condition For Each loop. The Add Node screen opens.

8. Click the Condition option and click the Next button.

9. Configure a condition and click the Next button.
10. Add a tag if necessary and click the Insert button.

11. Click the + icon to add a “then” condition. In this example, table interactivity is added.

12. Click the Affected Elements option and click the Next button.

13. Select the Power Table/Row Style option by clicking the checkbox.
14. Use the drop-down list and select the Set background color option.
15. Select a color and click the Apply button.
16. Click the Next button.
17. Add a tag if necessary and click the Insert button.

18. Click the + icon of the Affected Elements node. The Add Node screen opens.

19. Under Loop, click the Loop Continue option.
20. Click the + icon of the Condition’s Else option.
21. Under Loop, click the Loop Continue option.
22. Click the + icon of the Loop’s On Finish option.

23. Click the Show message option and add a message.
24. Click the Next button, add a tag if necessary, and click the Insert button.

25. Save and Preview the project. You will see the accounts that have Gold status.

26. Click the button. All the rows are evaluated, and the rows corresponding to the Loop conditions are changed.
