SmartV: Manage And Preview Pages

Overview

After you configure SmartV, Titan generates the pages users need to log in, verify their identity, register, and manage their profiles.

You can access these pages from the Titan web builder to review and customize their content. You can also add a header with a Sign In option, then preview the project and test the full SmartV user journey before publishing it.

Prerequisite

Complete the SmartV setup before managing or testing the generated pages. The pages and features available in your project depend on the options enabled during setup.

Access The Generated SmartV Pages

Titan generates the following SmartV pages based on your configuration:

• Log In: Allows existing users to enter their login information.
• Verification: Allows users to submit a verification code when two-factor authentication is enabled.
• Registration: Allows new users to create an account when self-registration is enabled.
• Profile: Allows logged-in users to view or update their information.

Save the project after completing the SmartV setup. This ensures that the configuration and generated pages are available in the visual builder.

You can access the pages using either of the following methods.

Use The Page Drop-Down List

1. Open the page drop-down list at the top of the visual builder.
2. Hover over SmartV to display the generated pages.
3. Select the SmartV page you want to open.

Use The Pages Menu

1. Select Pages on the menu bar.
2. Hover over SmartV to display the generated pages.
3. Select the page you want to open.

Open each available page to review its fields, text, branding, and layout. You can customize these pages to match the rest of your project, but avoid removing fields or actions required for the SmartV process.

Add The Sign-In Option To The Project Header

Add a header so users can access the SmartV login process from your project’s main navigation. When the header is enabled, Titan adds a Sign In option that directs users to the SmartV login page.

The header can also display your logo, project title, page links, and user account options.

1. Select Pages on the menu bar.
2. Select the Gear icon next to Manage Menus.
   
   The Site Menus window opens.
   

3. Under Header, turn on the Include a header toggle.

4. Review the pages included in the navigation menu.
5. Select the X icon to close the Site Menus window.
6. Save the project.

The header appears at the top of the project, with the Sign In option displayed on the right.

You can further customize the header to include:

• Your organization’s logo
• A project title
• Project page links
• User account options
• User profile options

Include only pages that users can access from the main navigation.

Preview The SmartV Experience

Preview the complete project to test SmartV as a user would. Opening a SmartV page in the visual builder lets you review its design, while Preview mode lets you test its fields, actions, navigation, and Salesforce connection.

1. Save the project.
2. Select Preview.
3. Confirm that the project header appears.
4. Select Sign In in the header.
5. Confirm that the SmartV login page opens.

Test The Enabled SmartV Features

Test each feature enabled during the SmartV setup. The journey you need to test depends on your project configuration.

Where possible, use dedicated test accounts so that changes do not affect active Salesforce records.

Test Login

Confirm that:

• The Sign In option opens the correct login page.
• Users can enter and submit their login information.
• Invalid information returns an appropriate message.
• A successful login directs the user to the correct page.
• The correct account options appear after login.

Test Two-Factor Authentication

If two-factor authentication is enabled, confirm that:

• A verification code is sent using the configured method.
• The Verification page opens after valid login information is submitted.
• Users can enter and submit the code.
• Invalid or expired codes return an appropriate message.
• A valid code completes the login process.

Test Self-Registration

If self-registration is enabled, confirm that:

• Users can access the Registration page.
• All required fields appear.
• Required-field and validation messages display correctly.
• Entered information is mapped to the correct Salesforce fields.
• Successful registration produces the expected result.

Test The User Profile

If profile management is enabled, confirm that:

• Logged-in users can access the Profile page.
• The correct Salesforce information appears.
• Editable fields can be updated.
• Saved changes are reflected in Salesforce.
• Protected fields cannot be edited.

Test Access Conditions

If access conditions are configured, test the project with users who meet them and those who do not.

Confirm that:

• Eligible users can access the intended content.
• Ineligible users cannot access restricted content.
• Users are directed to the correct page after logging in.
• Logging out removes access to protected pages.

Publish The Project

Publish the project after you have tested every enabled SmartV feature and confirmed that the login and account processes work correctly.

1. Return to the visual builder.
2. Make any required changes.
3. Save the project.
4. Preview and retest the affected SmartV pages.
5. Select Publish.
6. Complete the publishing process.

Open the published project and perform a final login test. This confirms that the header, SmartV pages, authentication settings, and Salesforce connections work correctly in the published version.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Can’t I See All Four SmartV Pages?

The generated pages depend on the features enabled during SmartV setup. For example, the Verification page is used when two-factor authentication is enabled, while the Registration page is used when self-registration is enabled.

Can I Customize The Generated SmartV Pages?

Yes. You can change their layout, text, fields, and branding. Avoid removing fields or actions required for login, verification, registration, or profile management.

Why Doesn’t The Sign-In Option Appear?

Confirm that SmartV is configured and that Include a header is enabled under Pages > Manage Menus. Save the project and open Preview mode after enabling the header.

Should I Test The Individual Pages Or The Full Project?

Do both. Open each SmartV page in the visual builder to review its design, then preview the full project to test navigation, login, verification, registration, profile management, and access conditions.

Do I Need To Publish The Project After Changing A SmartV Page?

Yes. Save, preview, and republish the project for the changes to appear in the published version.
