How to Enable the New Signer Experience

Overview

The New Signer Experience introduces an updated signing interface designed to improve usability, stability, and long-term scalability of the signing workflow.

The redesigned interface provides a cleaner, more intuitive signing experience while introducing an improved technical architecture that enhances reliability and supports future platform capabilities.

When enabled, documents sent for signing open using the New Signer Experience instead of the legacy signer interface.

The feature is controlled at the project level and can be enabled through the document settings in Titan Builder.

Prerequisites

Before enabling the New Signer Experience, ensure that:

• The feature is enabled for your account
• You have access to the project in Titan Builder
• You have permission to modify Document Settings

If the feature is available for your account, a banner inviting you to try the New Signer Experience may appear in the Builder interface.

How to Enable the New Signer Experience

Option 1

Open your Titan Sign project in Titan Builder.

If the feature flag is enabled for your account, you may see a banner prompting you to try the New Signer Experience.

Click Try it out.

Alternatively, you can enable the feature from:

Document Settings → General

Option 2

You can also enable the feature from the Document Settings panel.

1. Open the Document tab on the right panel.
2. Select Settings.
3. Open General section
4. Enable the Signer Experience toggle.

This setting activates the New Signer Experience for the current project.

Step 3

Click Enable New Experience to complete the activation.

Once enabled, documents sent for signing will open using the New Signer Experience.

Important Notes

• The New Signer Experience is enabled at the project level.
• Some document configurations may become locked after activation if they are not supported by the New Signer Experience or if the system enforces a default configuration required for the updated signing workflow.
• Only configurations affected by activation appear in the confirmation modal.
• Some configurations may become locked after activation, even if they are not listed in the confirmation modal. This occurred when those settings were not previously in use, so their values were not modified during activation.
• If the feature is not enabled for your account, the activation banner will not appear. In that case, please contact the Titan support team. 
• The system does not store the previous configuration state when enabling the New Signer Experience. If the feature is later disabled, the project may need to be reconfigured manually to restore the desired settings.
